BALENCIAGA IN BLACK

SPATIAL CONCEPT - SPATIAL EXECUTION - VISUAL MERCHANDISING

A pop-up concept for luxury department store De Bijenkorf, presenting the opening of a new fashion exhibition ‘Balenciaga in Black’ in Het Kunstmuseum. The assignment was to translate the essence of the exhibition into a spatial design and promote product in an innovative way. The project aimed to evoke curiosity among customers and increase sales of Balenciaga products.

Derived from the Balenciaga brand, architectural shapes, dark hues and contrasting materials were the starting points for the design. The Balenciaga products were presented in a museum-esque, but dynamic way.
